The mission of TriCounty Addiction Services is to assist persons in Lanark, Leeds and Grenville counties who may be at risk of developing, or currently experiencing, family and personal difficulties related to alcohol, other drugs, gambling, or co-occurring mental health and addiction problems – to overcome those problems through counselling, education, prevention and health promotion activities.
Goals & Objectives
- Goal: To assist persons dependent on alcohol or other drugs or troubled by gambling or co-occurring mental health and addiction problems to address their problems arising from those circumstances.
Objective: To provide counselling for persons in Lanark, Leeds and Grenville counties who misuse alcohol and other drugs or have problems with gambling or other mental health and addictions circumstances, which enables them to have ready access to non-residential, short-term community-based treatment services.
- Goal: To assist families troubled by misuse of alcohol or other drugs, gambling, or other mental health and addictions circumstances to develop healthier life-styles.
Objective: To develop counselling and prevention and health promotion programs with components specific to clients' needs so that those are resolved to their satisfaction.
- Goal: To participate in the development, coordination and provision of addiction and related mental health services in the district, and at an agency and inter-ministerial level.
Objective: To increase accessibility and quality of treatment by advocating for cooperation, coordination, integration and enhancement of addiction and related mental health services.
